Did you ever wonder what the button on your keyboard that looks like the Windows Logo between the “Ctrl” and “Alt” buttons did? When I was a computer newbie, I know I looked at that button for years and wondered. Well, now you will know too.

Windows Logo button will display or hide the Start menu

Windows Logo+BREAK will display the System Properties dialog box

Windows Logo+D will display the desktop

Windows Logo+M will minimize all open windows

Windows Logo+SHIFT+M will restore the minimized windows

Windows Logo+E will open My Computer

Windows Logo+F will search for a file or a folder

CTRL+Windows Logo+F will search for computers on your network

Windows Logo+F1 will display Windows Help

Windows Logo+R will open the Run dialog box

Windows Logo+U will open Utility Manager
