Instant Adsense Templates

We were recently contacted by several of our customers and visitors regarding the new Instant Adsense Templates being promoted by Joel Comm. These inquiries are likely due our previously published article, "The Truth about Adsense Optimized Templates" and they also know that we have promoted Joel Comm's Adsense eBooks for years. Folks are confused as to why these Adsense Templates are any different than other HTML templates or HTML document.

First let me say, that we do think Joel's Adsense Optimization ebooks are a great resource for anyone who wants to go beyond the Adsense Optimization Tips that Google provides. We've always given Joel a two thumbs up on his Adsense ebooks. We have attended several of his conferences, attended his Adsense Code teleconference, and our manager even met him in person at the Affiliate Summit this year.

But we do not endorse nor recommend his new venture regarding the poorly developed Instant Adsense Templates loaded down with several thousand pages of Private Label Articles.

Joel says "don't use the articles as is", but this really is no different than what the other Adsense Ready Template designers are saying about the packages they sell to hundreds of people. It is also a direct violation of Google Adsense's policies to publish duplicate content. Folks who use them "as is" (and we suspect most will) are subject to permanent termination of their Adsense account. I can only imagine the groans coming from Google engineers who know that in a few weeks, they will have to tweak their bots to zap these junk articles from their search engine indexes.

Further the template designs we saw did not contain search engine friendly source code and looked no different than the others you see being sold despite the note on the website that says they look better and are better.

It is not a difficult task to copy/paste Adsense code into a navigational column or below/beside thumbnail images. In the sample website we saw using these Instant Adsense Templates, these are the only differences we noted when compared to basic HTML templates.

Sorry Joel, you missed the mark on this venture but we do think your Adsense eBook is great. :)
