We ran out of dishwasher soap today, so my son used "a little bit" of dishwashing liquid instead. Our cat kept bristling his back and acting spooked while peaking around the corner into the kitchen. We ignored him; he can be rather goosey sometimes.

What he was seeing was HUGE mounds of soap suds and water slowly billowing out of the dishwasher and creeping across the kitchen floor. It wasn't an easy mess to clean up, but I survived and the good news is our cat will not require psychotherapy. ;)

My only regret was not taking a picture of the mess for everyone to see. It was absolutely indescribable.

There you go... just another day in my life.

I'd like to share another idea with you today regarding the vast possibilities with our swap-out graphics packages. In this example, I will be using Template #479 which has a babies theme to illustrate this design concept.

We all know that keeping a consistent theme or appearance to your website's pages is essential but sometimes you still want to add a little interest to your pages without unnecessarily weighing them down. Template #479 contains swap-out graphics and coordinates with our swap-out graphics package #G479. This graphics package contains 10 different photo insets and 12 different colored buttons. All are the same size dimensions and color coordinate with each other.

You could for example create your index.html page using the original template and create each additional page with a different photo insert. Another possibility is to use a random image script (readily available for free at many script websites) and setup your images to change on specific days, times of the year, etc.

There you go. Another basically bright idea and reason as to why BasicTemplates.com design's far surpass any other template resource. Using a BasicTemplates design just makes good sense and saves you cents too.

We watch Court TV in the office and have been glued to the Scott Peterson double murder trial for the past few months. We consider ourselves mystery sleuths, as several members of our staff have legal connections in their family or have worked in the legal field. We also shared a common interest in solving and discussing mysteries including the OJ Simpson case many years ago.

Last week I put a bug in your ear about the design potential concerning our "General" theme Templates.

At first glance a "General" templates category may sound pretty boring. BUT step outside of the design box you may be boxed into and take a peak at the potential you will find in this category.

Most of our "General" themed web templates can be converted to just about any theme by simply adding a photo or clipart image. In fact, our "General" themed web templates could be considered more useful than those that are created with a specific theme. You could take the same general template and use if for 20 different themed websites, if you wished, and would involve very little revamping work. You cannot do that as easily with a template that is already designed with a specific theme.

There you go! Just another way to get the most out of your.Basic.Templates!

It's that time of year again. I know, some of you are happy about the back-to-school season and others are not.

I myself enjoy this time of year as the new software versions come out, the air becomes cool and crisp (no more humidity!), the leaves change to brillant colors here in southern Ohio, and the holidays are just around the corner.
