Many graphic designers are NOT qualified web designers. Their

Why? Because expecting the customer to add it later is literally
cheating them out of a web programming design element. Not
only does the customer they have to strip the template of
redundant HTML code, but they have to add their own style

a template without external CSS (cascading style sheets).
If you create a website without external CSS, you will be
very disappointed the first time you want to make a change
to any cosmetic element. Expect nothing less when you purchase

such a bizarre notion. Wouldn't that be ugly? ;)

original right-brain ideas."
We get 1000s of hits per day at BasicTemplates and
many of the visitors who browse our site are other web template
designers.
They come to see what we are up to and for inspirational
purposes. That's flattering to a point, until it is brought
to our attention
that our original design ideas are being replicated on other
sites. Or worse ... our verbiage and sometimes templates
literally
copied (stolen!). We get a little angry as
you might imagine. Naturally we pursue such blatant violations
within the legal system. We spend countless hours coming
up with new, innovative ideas without scouting the Internet
to
see what the competition is doing. We don't have to! Our

NEVER experienced designers' block. In fact, we cannot relate
to what it is at all.

$40 web template with a design layout they have seen repeated
100s of times on many web template designers' sites for
over
several years? Think about it. They could get it just about
anywhere, right? And perhaps for a lesser fee. The best
advice
we can give our customers' when searching for a quality web
template is to look for originality. Look for designs that
you haven't seen elsewhere. Those designers are the leaders
in the industry, and you can be pretty certain that you
will
receive a premium product or service from them.
The best advice we can give to consumers is to seek out
