What are Web Templates?

OUR web templates are semifinished web pages that have been predesigned and assembled with all the graphics and necessary code needed to get a web site online quickly. When we say "semifinished", we mean that all there is left to do is edit your links, add your page content, insert your page titles and meta tags, and upload the pages to your web server. Each template is so near completion, it could easily be considered a web site within itself! No other template designer that we know of offers such a complete and easy-to-use product. But wait, we don't offer just one, two or three. We offer 100s all in a membership environment or priced individually at an affordable cost.

Web Site Owners Our web templates enable the DIY (do-it-yourself) web site owner to add their page content and have their site online in minutes. They are a welcome alternative to the mediocre quality and slim selection of templates that come prepackaged with HTML editing software. A basic understanding of HTML and the know-how to add text to buttons and other graphics using a graphics software program is recommended. You should also be familiar with the FTP process (uploading your web pages to your web site server - your piece of real estate on the World Wide Web).

Web Designers Our web templates are used by 1000s of fellow web designers throughout the world. We license our templates for other designers to use on their clients' web sites without heavy licensing fees. This licensing process is done automatically when you register for a membership. This enables other designers like you to quickly provide a site for their clients, saving them 100s of design hours. It also enables web designers who do not design their own graphics the ability to provide their clients with a quality, professionally designed web site interface. This is a cost savings to the developer which they can then pass down to their clients if they choose to do so. Everyone is happy in this situation which often means "return business" for the web designer!

Entrepreneurs Over the years since we first started designing and utilizing the web template concept many new entrepreneurs have started their own online business utilizing our web templates in some fashion. We do not permit our templates to be displayed, resold or redistributed as we retain all legal copyrights to our designs. However, we do permit other ways for entrepreneurs to profit from their use.

For example, we have several clients who own online "Web Directories" within their local metropolitan areas themed toward a specific profession. We will use "wedding services in Los Angeles" only as a scenario. They then allow wedding service providers in the LA area to list their business in the online directory for free. They also offer those business owners who do not have a web site, the option to have a site designed using one of "our web templates". They purchase the templates from us and do all the page content additions themselves, thus charging their clients a fee for their services.

Several of our members create "true" turnkey websites from our templates and sell the sites as a complete, fully functional website ready for their customers to turn the key and open shop. Note: Creating sample sites with our templates for resale is not permitted, however, creating "true" turnkey websites and reselling them is permitted. Another example is that we offer an affiliate program for other web site owners to receive a cash commission for sales of our subscription memberships that originate through their web site. The web site owner joins our affiliate program absolutely free and then adds our affiliate button and link to their web site. Affiliates will then receive a generous commission of sales from any visitors who find our site through the affiliate's web site and who subscribes. We introduced a Partnership Program several months ago which further extends the potential to make money utilizing our web templates and has become quite successful. Once partners are approved, they are permitted to bulk download our preview images, watermark them with THEIR company name and display them in a pick/choose environment on their website so their potential clients can decide on what layout they want them to design their web site with. Templates may not be displayed online or resold, but this is a welcome alternative and has proven to be a great hit with our members.

Subcontracting - OutSourcing Often times we are contacting by companies that wish to offer web template resales from their own web sites. Since we legally own all copyrights to our designs, we cannot permit this. However, we do provide subcontracting services for royalty free web templates. What are royalty free templates?

As an example scenario only, other web hosting companies, Internet Services Providers and computer companies like to offer web templates as an option to their already online service portfolio. However, most often they do not have designers of their own qualified to develop a professional product. Or it is more cost effective to outsource the project. We can provide a specially developed series of web templates for their own royal-free ownership and copyrights. What this means is that we develop and sell the package to them. They can then resell or redistribute them however they wish. Royalty-free templates are of course priced much higher, because we give up our copyright ownership of the template package. But even though this method is priced much higher, it is still very profitable for the company subcontracting or outsourcing our services. They will be able to offer these professionally designed templates made exclusively for them to their clients and customers on any type of media (online or offline) for years to come.
